MEMBERS ONLY Company Visit to Tele2 Shared Service Center

To better bridging the business communities between Swedish companies and other companies in Latvia, SCCL organizes MEMBER-ONLY company visits on a regular basis.

On 5th of March, we paid a visit to Tele2 Shared Service Center. Tele2 Shared Service Center has been growing rapidly ever since the establishment in 2004​. Its employees have been expanding to over 400 from the initial 9 employees. 

In addition to the advantage of cost, Kim Leandersson, the General Manager of Tele2 Shared Service Center, also highlighted the other equivalent advantages, such as cultural similarity and favor of location, for a Swedish company to operate in Latvia; however, Kim also raised the concern on the shortage of talents in IT related fields in Latvia.
